The Pontchartrain Railroad station in Faubourg Marigny was on Decatur Street. Pontchartrain Railroad Station The Pontchartrain Railroad operated from Faubourg Marigny to Port Pontchartrain, in Milneburg. While the lake terminus extended out onto a shipping pier, the operated a regular terminal on the river side.
